SpaceOne WorldTimer: The Future of Timekeeping Has Landed

SpaceOne has once again proven that cutting-edge watchmaking doesn’t require astronomical prices. The brand’s latest creation, the SpaceOne WorldTimer, represents a quantum leap in horological design that’s as accessible as it is extraordinary. This isn’t just another timepiece – it’s a glimpse into the future of how we interact with time itself.

Led by visionary entrepreneur Guillaume Laidet, with striking design work from Olivier Gamiette and precision engineering from rising independent watchmaker Theo Auffret, SpaceOne has crafted something truly special.

The WorldTimer challenges every convention of traditional watch design while maintaining the brand’s commitment to affordability that has made them the ultimate multi-hyphenate success story of 2025.

Affordable Innovation

The WorldTimer’s most striking feature is its radical three-display configuration that transforms how you read time. At 3 o’clock, a dedicated display shows minutes and seconds with crystalline clarity.

The 6 o’clock position houses an independent hour display that operates separately from the main timekeeping functions. But the real showstopper sits at 9 o’clock – a large circular world time display that puts global time zones literally at your fingertips.

This ingenious system allows wearers to sync their current location with the dial and instantly track time zones across the globe. While it doesn’t accommodate quarter- or half-hour intervals, it covers the vast majority of international time zones with remarkable precision. The entire system is controlled through an elegant three-position crown that feels as intuitive as it is sophisticated.

Titanium Package

Under the hood, the WorldTimer houses a robust Soprod P024 movement enhanced with Auffret’s custom-designed world time complication, assembled in Paris. The first crown position enables manual winding, the second allows quick-setting of the city disc, and the third simultaneously adjusts both 12-hour and 24-hour displays. Despite its complex functionality, the automatic movement delivers a respectable 38-hour power reserve.

The case construction showcases SpaceOne’s commitment to premium materials at accessible prices. Crafted from Grade 5 titanium, the case features a sophisticated mix of polished, brushed, and sandblasted surfaces with silver, blued, or black coating options. The dimensions are deliberately bold – measuring 52.7mm across its longest sides and 41.9mm lug-to-lug, with a substantial 15.88mm thickness that commands attention on the wrist.

Sapphire crystal domes protect the complex dial work, while the black face provides dramatic contrast against the luminous printed indices. Water resistance reaches 30 meters, making it suitable for daily wear, and buyers can choose between textile or rubber straps to match their style preferences.

The SpaceOne WorldTimer launches with exclusive pre-orders beginning June 26 at 4:00 PM French time, priced at €2,700 (excluding taxes). Only 600 pieces will be produced in this inaugural batch, with delivery expected by year’s end. This limited availability, combined with SpaceOne’s growing reputation for innovation, suggests the WorldTimer will become an instant collector’s piece.

For a brand that continues pushing boundaries while keeping luxury accessible, the WorldTimer represents SpaceOne’s most ambitious achievement yet – a truly extra-terrestrial timepiece designed for life on terra firma.
